Shannon Rezac received her master’s degree in food science and human nutrition with research in both Dr. Michael Miller and Dr. Matthew Stasiewicz’s Labs. Her research focused on developing systems for rapid screening of antimicrobials targeting Listeria monocytogenes in a laboratory ham model.
Before attending UIUC, Shannon received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in food science and technology.
Shannon currently works for Hormel Foods in Austin, MN. She is a product development scientist for Hormel Foodservice Brands.
