Tina Wu

Tina Wu (she/her/hers)

Tina is a third-year PhD candidate from Gansu, China. She earned a B.E. degree in Food Science and Engineering from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. Following that, she pursued her M.S. in Food Science and Technology at the National University of Singapore.

Currently, Tina’s research focuses on developing aggregative sampling methods for preharvest food safety testing, specifically using boot covers to collect soil samples in lettuce fields.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Tina has a passion for traveling, skiing, and cooking. She is also a beginner in tennis, eager to improve her skills and enjoy the sport.
